The drought of good Chrome alternative on Android ends as Microsoft has finally released its Edge web browser. You can grab it from the Play Store right away. iPhone users need not feel left out, as the Redmond-based company has also rolled out the Edge browser for Apple’s iOS.
The Edge browser is an integral part of Windows 10 operating system. Microsoft introduced Edge after phasing out the sluggish Internet Explorer. The new browser got a good response and fans asked Microsoft to release it on mobile platforms. After introducing a closed testing programme, edge is finally available for public on Android and iOS.
