Microsoft has launched a series of products in the last few days. Close to the heels of unveiling the Microsoft Office 2019 and the latest Surface Pro 6, the company has announced its first ever pair of headphones called the Surface headphones. The headphone brings in some great features and will compete with known brands in the space including Sony WH-1000xM3 and Bose QC-35 II.

The Microsoft Surface Headphones will sport two rotatory dials positioned on its two earcups. While one of the rotatory dials will manage the intensity and enable Ambient Noise Control, the other will enable users to control the volume levels. The Surface Headphones will come with support for” Hey Cortana”. It will enable users to issue handsfree voice commands to change a song or check their calendar and appointments without having to use their smartphones. The Surface headphones weigh a little over 290g, hence it is a bit heavier than the competing offerings from Sony and Bose.

The Surface headphones are driven by a pair of 40mm Free Edge driver that are placed inside each earpiece to enable a supreme audio experience. The headphones can operate in the frequency spectrum of 20Hz-20KHz. As per the band, it can offer up to 15 hours of non-stop audio experience on Bluetooth.

As for charging the headphones, it can seamlessly connect to a USB Type-C port for charging. It is claimed that the headphones take less than two hours to charge completely. The headphones are compatible across all major mobile operating systems such as iOS, Android, Windows as well as MacOS.

The Surface headphones are priced at $349 which converts to a little over Rs. 25,500. The headphones are available in Light Gray hue. As per company reports, the headphone will be launched in the USA later this year.
