Micromax has launched a new selfie-centric phone, the Micromax Selfie 3. Not to be confused with the Canvas Selfie 3, which is a completely different device. The phone hit the stores from today and for Rs 11,999.
The highlight of Micromax Selfie 3 is the 16 MP Samsung sensor at the front. It is accompanied by a selfie flash. Also, it gets features such as Beautification mode, Portrait, and a 52 MP Super Pixel mode. The 13 MP rear camera uses a Sony sensor.
The Micromax Selfie 3 is a dual-SIM phone with 4G VoLTE capabilities. For entertainment and gaming purposes, the Micromax Selfie 3 offers a 5-inch Full HD IPS 2.5D curved display. The pixels are pushed by an octa-core Snapdragon 435 CPU coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. It comes with 3 GB DDR3 RAM and 32 GB on-board storage which can be extended further via the microSD card slot.
The fingerprint sensor is placed below the rear camera sensor. The 3000 mAh battery should last for at least a day considering that Snapdragon 4 chipsets are quite power efficient.
