
Micromax Revealed Budget-Friendly In Note 1 & In 1B Smartphones With Quad-Camera And Stock Android UI
In its attempt to revive itself, Micromax has launched various devices time and again. In an online-only event, the brand has revealed two smartphones, under its new sub-brand In which was announced earlier in October, In Note 1 and In 1B. Marking the onboard specs, Micromax is offering the smartphone at quite an aggressive pricing. Between the two, In 1B is aggressively priced and comes with one of the best entry-level specifications. The users will get a triple-camera array, a large screen, and a big 5,000 mAh battery. Whereas, In Note 1 is the model where Micromax is offering punch-hole display, quick charging, MediaTek Helio G85 chip, and a quad-camera setup.
Micromax In Note 1: Key specs & features
The elder variant, In Note 1, sports an LCD panel with a punch-hole cutout and Full HD+ resolution. The screen size will be 6.67” and the aspect ratio will be 21:9. The smartphone will draw its power from MediaTek’s budget-segment chipset Helio G85 coupled with 4 gigs of RAM. The onboard storage will be 128GB on In Note 1.
Coming to the optics, the smartphone comes with a quad-setup. The primary sensor is a 48MP, one paired with a 5MP ultra-wide. There will also be dual 2MP depth and macro sensors. The punch-hole will house a 16MP selfie snapper. The package will be backed up by a big 5,000 mAh battery with fast charging support up to 18W. Micromax is also offering USB Type-C and support for reverse charging.
Micromax In 1B: Key specs & features
In 1B will sport a bit smaller 6.5” waterdrop LCD display with HD+ resolution. The smartphone has Helio G35 at its core and comes with a 4GB+64GB storage option. The optics on this entry-level smartphone are also quite good, where users will get a triple-camera setup where the primary sensor is a 13MP paired with a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the waterdrop notch will carry an 8MP sensor for selfies and video conferencing.
The battery capacity on In 1B is 5,000 mAh, and it will support fast charging up to 10W. Like its elder brother, In 1B will also have USB Type-C and support for reverse charging.
Some common features that Micromax is bundling on these smartphones are 2 years of software updates, clean UI with no ads or bloatware, rear FPS, WiFi, dual 4G VoLTE, and a 3.5mm audio port. Micromax is also offering a dedicated button for Google Assistant, and users will also get integrated GPS. Micromax In Note 1 and In 1B will run the stock version of Android 10.
Pricing & availability
Micromax In Note 1 will come in 2 color options, green and white. There will be 2 variants with 64GB and 128GB storage options. The pricing will be ₹10,999 and ₹12,499, respectively. Micromax In 1B will be priced at ₹6,999 for the 2GB+32GB variant and ₹7,999 for the 4+64GB one. This one will be available in three color options, Purple, Blue, and Green.
The smartphones will be available exclusively through micrmaxinfo.com and Flipkart. The In Note 1 will go on sale on Nov 24, whereas the 1B will be available from Nov 26. The registration portal has been activated today on both the sites.
