Micromax launches Unite 2 smartphone with 21 language support at Rs. 6999

Domestic handset manufacturer Micromax has launched a new budget smartphone dubbed as Unite 2. The Android phone is priced at Rs. 6999 and will be available across all leading stores across India starting May 22. The USP of the phone is that it supports 21 regional languages including Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Odia, Bengali, Assamese, Marathi, Nepali, Bodo, Dogri, Konkani, Kashmiri, Maithili, Manipuri, Sanskrit and Sindhi.

micromax-unite-2-smartphoneThe Micromax Unite 2 sports a 4.7-inch WVGA display. The dual-SIM phone is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor along with 1GB RAM. It runs on Google’s latest Android 4.4 KitKat OS. Internal storage capacity of the device is 4GB which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. On the camera front, it has a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP front-facing camera. The phone is backed by a 2000mAH battery. Connectivity options provided with Unite 2 are- Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, 3G and GPS.
