Micromax launches Canvas Doodle 3 smartphone in India at Rs. 8500
Leading mobile handset manufacturer Micromax has launched expanded its Canvas series with Doodle 3. The device which is a 3rd iteration to the company’s popular Canvas Doodle smartphone, will be available from 25th April with a price tag of Rs. 8500.
In terms of features, the Canvas Doodle 3 sports a 6-inch FWVGA (480x854p) display and is powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core MediaTek processor along with 512MB RAM. It runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS and features 4GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. The dual-SIM (GAM + GSM) device is hosts a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a VGA front-facing camera. Connectivity features include- 3G, GPS, WiFi and Bluetooth 3.0. The battery capacity of the device is 2500mAh.

The Doodle 3 is one of the cheapest large screen phones available in the Indian market. Micromax is offering a six-month subscription of Bigflix along with the device. In addition, the phone will also feature a magnetic flip cover to protect it from dust and scratches.
