Indian handset manufacturer Micromax has expanded its Canvas series with Canvas Power smartphone. The long anticipated device is now listed on company’s website but without the pricing and availability details. The most enticing feature about the latest smartphone by Micromax is its powerful 4000mAh battery support which promises a very superior performance as compared to most other existing smartphones in the market. It promises up to 5.5 hours of talktime and up to 450 hours of standby time. Lenovo P780 is another such device launched last year which packed a 4000mAh battery.
The Canvas Power features a 5-inch TFT display with 480x854pixels resolution of and is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MTK 6582M processor. It runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box and packs 512MB RAM. There’s 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. It hosts an 8MP primary camera with LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera. The connectivity features of device include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G and Dual-SIM (GSM + GSM) support.
