Meizu Note 9 with Snapdragon 675 and 48-megapixel Camera is Here

China-based smartphone manufacturer Meizu has expanded its mid-range product portfolio with the launch of Meizu Note 9 in its hometown. The phone is successor to last year’s Meizu Note 8 and comes loaded with specifications which includes 48-megapixel camera, 6GB of RAM, Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor etc.

Let’s talk about Meizu Note 9’s price before we move onto its features and specifications. The smartphone comes in three variants,

• 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage priced at RMB 1,398 (roughly Rs. 14,700)
• 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage priced at RMB 1,598 (roughly Rs. 16,700)
• 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage priced at RMB 1,598 (roughly Rs. 16,700)

The phone will go on sale starting from March 11 in Black, Blue, or White colour options.

Meizu Note 9 Features and Specifications

The Meizu Note 9 flaunts a 6.3-inch IPS LCD full HD+ display with 1080×2244 pixel screen resolution and 18.7:9 aspect ratio resulting into screen-to-body ratio of 89.23 per cent. The display comes with water drop shaped notch at the top and features very thin chin at the bottom. The device draws power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset. The phone also features Hyper Gaming and Game Mode 3.0 for enhanced gaming experience. In terms of memory, there are three variants- 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage, 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage and 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage. In terms of software, the phone runs on Flyme OS based on Android 9 Pie operating system out of the box. All of this is fueled by a 4,000mAh battery on board which comes with 18W fast charging support. The phone also comes with a USB-C port. In terms of security, there’s a rear mounted fingerprint scanner as well as face recognition technology.

The phone also features an interesting camera set up i.e. dual rear camera consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor + 5-megapixel secondary sensor. The front gets a 20-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture.

In terms of connectivity, the Meizu Note 9 features 3.5mm audio jack, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Dual 4G VoLTE, GPS + GLONASS, Bluetooth 5 LE and USB Type-C.
