HTC M8, a rumored successor of HTC One might surface early next year and will run on the new Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. As per the rumors, the M8 will sport a 5″ fullHD 1080p display and will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 800 series quad-core processor. The display will not only provide a best quality of video output but will also enhance the gaming experience.
The rumors also suggest that the new flagship of HTC will be identical to HTC One in terms of design/looks but will have an integrated fingerprint scanner. This won’t be a surprise as HTC has already included fingerprint scanner in its recently launched phablet One Max. Further, the device might be equipped with 3GB RAM and Sense 6.0 UI.
HTC One is arguably one of the most powerful smart phone available in the market at present with the best in class camera features and if rumored specs. of M8 are to be true then it’s going to get even better. With the expected launch of Samsung Galaxy S5 and Apple iPhone 6 sometime next year, the smart phone market is going to witness a meaningful traction.
The rumored flagship would probably be launched by the Taiwanese handset major at MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2014 and will be available in US with select carriers by end of the March’14.
