LG X6South Korean smartphone maker LG has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of a new LG X6 budget smartphone in Korea. The phone is MIL-STD 810G certified for durability and comes equipped with a triple rear camera set up. It is rebranded version of the LG Q60 smartphone, that was launched at MWC 2019 back in February in Barcelona, Spain. Some of the other highlights of the phone include 4,000mAh battery, 6.26-inch display and MediaTek Helio P22 chipset.

The LG X6 comes in New Moroccan Blue and Aurora Black with a price tag of KRW 349,800 (roughly $296).

LG X6 Features and Specs

The LG X6 bears a 6.26-inch display with full-HD+ resolution and features a small U-shaped notch on top, and 19:9 aspect ratio. There’s a 2.0Hz MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core chipset that powers the device along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB onboard storage that can be expanded further up to 2TB using a microSD card. In terms of software, the phone runs Android 9 Pie operating system out of the box. All of this is fuelled by a decent 3,500mAh capacity non-removable battery. The phone also comes equipped with a dedicated Google Assistant button to trigger AI virtual assistant. The phone also supports LG Pay through NFC and has all standard connectivity options.

In terms of optics, you get a horizontally stacked triple camera setup on the back with a combination of 16-megapixel primary sensor + a 5-megapixel 120 degree Wide Angle sensor + a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front gets a 13-megapixel selfie shooter.

As mentioned earlier, the phone is MIL-STD 810G certified, a military standard which is recognized by the US Department of Defense. Which means that the phone has passed tough tests like high temperature, low temperature, thermal shock, humidity, vibration and shock.

In terms of security, the LG X6 ships with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and in terms of connectivity it features NFC, G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS + GLONASS.
