LG Lucid 3 with Android KitKat OS now available from Verizon

LG has launched a new smartphone named Lucid 3 with Google’s latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system out-of-the-box. The phone is launched in US with Verizon Wireless carrier for free on a new two year contract or for $300 off contract.

lg-lucid-3-smartphoneOne of the unique features of Lucid 3 is LG’s Knock Code which enables the users to unlock their phone by using a personalized pattern of knocks or taps anywhere on the screen.

The LG Lucid 3 sports a 4.7-inch qHD display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and resolution of 960×540 pixels. The phone is powered by 1.2GHz Snapdragon processor along with 1GB RAM. The inbuilt storage capacity of the device is 8GB which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. There’s a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP front-facing camera. In terms of connectivity, there are options like- 4G LTE/3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, EDGE/GPRS, GPS/AGPS and microUSB. Battery capacity of the device is 2440mAh.
