LG X4 (2019)

South Korean tech giant LG has expanded its budget offering with the launch of LG X4 (2019). The X4 smartphone was first launched back in April 2018 and rebranded as the LG K12+. The LG X4 (2019) is a mid-range phone with military grade durability. Some of its highlights include Helio P22, AI camera and Dedicated Google Assistant Button. Let’s have a look at the pricing details of the phone in Korea.

LG X4 (2019) Price

The LG X4 (2019) is priced in Korea at 297,000 won which roughly translates to Rs. 18,150 for the lone 3GB RAM + 32GB inbuilt storage variant. It will go on sale starting tomorrow (i.e. 26th April) in two colour options- New Aurora Black and Platinum Gray.

In terms of display, the LG X4 (2019) comes equipped with 5.7-inch IPS LCD panel that produces HD+ resolution of 720 x 1,440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The display features thick bezels above and below the panel. The upper bezel hosts the 8-megapixel selfie snapper with an f/2.0 aperture, while the rear hosts the 16-megapixel camera with f/2.0 lens, PDAF, LED flash and it is backed by AI. The camera also gets HDR and has Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF). Powering the device is MediaTek Helio P22 chipset paired with 650MHz IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU and 2GB of RAM. The inbuilt storage capacity of the phone is 32GB that is further expandable up to 2TB via microSD card. In terms of software it runs a bit outdated Android 8.1 Oreo OS out of the box instead of Google’s latest mobile operating system, Android 9.0 Pie. In addition, the phone gets a dedicated Google Assistant button. All of this is fueled by a 3,000mAh battery.

In other features, the phone has DTS:X 3D Surround Sound audio for enhanced listening experience over headphones via the 3.5mm jack. It is also certified MIL-STD-810G compliant, allowing it to withstand varying temperatures, humidity, and thermal shock. The dimensions of the phone are 153.0×71.9×8.3 mm and its weight is 145 grams. For security purpose, the phone gets a rear mounted fingerprint sensor. In terms of connectivity the phone includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and micro-USB port.
