LG Launches Q6+ Smartphone For Rs 17,990

LG has launched an interesting mid-range smartphone. Dubbed as the Q6+, this handset is US Military Standard-810G Certified. This means that the Q6+ has gone through rigorous physical tests.

The phone boasts of a robust metal frame. The phone features 5.5-inch Full HD screen. It is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 435 chip. The mid-range handset comes with 4 GB RAM, 64 GB storage, and a microSD card slot.

In the photography department, you get a 13 MP camera on the back. For selfies, LG offers a 5 MP shooter with 100-degree wide angle. This dual SIM phone is compatible with 4G VoLTE standards. So that you can use it with your dirt-cheap Reliance Jio SIM. It packs in a 3,000 mAh battery.

You can notice that a fingerprint sensor is missing in the specs. However, you get face recognition tech instead. Not a bad trade-off I would say.

On the software side of things, you get Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) out-of-the-box. The LG Q6+ is priced at Rs. 17,990 in India. According to LG, the phone has already reached the store shelves.
