The Internationale Funkausstellung or IFA as it is popularly known will see the launch of two smartphones from its stable. The IFA is one of the largest exhibitions of consumer electronics that will take place in Berlin this year.

LG will be announcing the LG G7 One and the LG G7 Fit before the upcoming event. The LG G7 One will come with a 6.1-inches super Bright IPS Full Vision display. The display will boast of a notch which will house the selfie camera, proximity sensor, LED notification and ear piece. The smartphone will have extremely thin bezels and have a slight chin at the bottom frame. It weighs around 156 grams and has a fingerprint scanner on the back. It also has a dedicated Google Assistant button. The rear camera is shown to be horizontally placed setup which is said to be 16 MP with F/1.6 Aperture and 71-degree wide-angle lens along with a LED flash. The selfie camera has 8 MP with F/1.9 Aperture and 80-degree wide-angle lens.

The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset with Adreno 540 GPU. The company has unveiled only one storage variant of the device which consists of 4 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. It can be expanded up to 2 TB via a microSD card. However, it seems difficult to believe as we need a memory card of more than 512 MB in the market.

The smartphone will run Android 8.1 Oreo stock OS under Android One Platform. It is powered by a battery of capacity 3,000 mAH. Reports suggest that it will come with a Quick Charge 3.0 support to enable faster charging of the smartphone. As the device is IP68 rated, it will resist damage due to dust and water. The phone also boasts of a MIL-STD 810G certificate for durability according to the company. In addition, the device packs in a Boombox speaker and FM Radio. It comes with connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Bluetooth, Dual Band among others and includes a 3.5 mm Audio Jack.

As for the LG G7 Fit, it sports a 6.1-inches Super Bright IPS LCD Full Vision display with a notch just like the LG G7 One. It is powered by Snapdragon 821 chipset with Adreno 530 GPU. The smartphone weighs a little more than LG G7 One at around 160 grams.

The smartphone is equipped with 4 GB RAM and 32 GB storage. Its microSD slot provides an option of extending the internal storage by up to 2 TB. The company has hinted at another model of the smartphone named the LG G7+ Fit which is believed to feature 4 GB RAM with 64 GB storage.

The smartphone comprises a 16 MP camera with LED flash F/2.2 Aperture and 76-degree wide-angle lens rear camera. It comes with a fingerprint sensor right beneath the camera setup. The selfie camera has an 8 MP shooter with F/1.9 aperture and 80-degree wide angle lens. The smartphone is powered by a camera of capacity – 3,000 mAh. It comes with Quick charge 3.0 support to enable fast charging of the smartphone.

The smartphone has an IP68 rating for water and dust proofing. It complies with the MIL-STD 810 G for sturdiness. The smartphone comes with a boombox speaker. Its connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-FI 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Hotspot, Dual Band, Bluetooth, GPS, USB Type-C 2.0 (3.1 compatible), NFC, FM Radio and 3.5mm Audio Jack. As for its color options, the LG G7 One comes in New Moroccan Blue and New Aurora Black colours. The G7 Fit is available in New Aurora Black and New Platinum Gray colours. While both these smartphones will debut at the IFA 2018 in the coming few days, its price has not yet been revealed by the company.
