The G Pad II 10.1 promises to be the best in its class of tablets in terms of performance at a competitive price. The tablet will sport a 10.1” WUXGA screen with a dazzling 1920x1200p display resolution, with a pixel density of 224 ppi. The aesthetic appeal of the tablet will lie in its sleek design which will also sport a soft bronze finish.

The huge screen coupled with the high resolution will add to the pleasure of browsing the web, watching films along with other media content. What’s more, with the Reader Mode incorporated in the tablet, reading e-books for longer period of time will no longer lead to strained eyes; the Reader Mode reduces the blue light of the display backlight to ensure a more relaxed reading experience.

Coming to the performance aspect of the G Pad II 10.1, the tablet will be equipped with a powerful 2.26GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 800 processor which combined with the 2 GB of RAM will give the user a smooth multitasking experience. Android fans won’t be disappointed as the G Pad II 10.1 will run the latest iteration of Android – Lollipop. The tablet will come with 16GB of internal storage, with additional memory support slot.
On the camera front, the primary camera will be 5 megapixels while the secondary camera will be a decent 2 megapixels, enough for making video calls and taking selfies. The user can watch videos, browse the web, and work on their projects for long hours as the tab will feature a 7,400mAh battery, one of the most long- lasting ones in the tablet segment.
For those who need their internet connectivity to be the best, the tablet supports 3G. LG is planning to launch an LTE version too in prominent markets of Europe, North America, and Asia following its official launch in September.
With only the key specs being unveiled for the time being, the price and availability details of the G Pad II 10.1 are to be revealed at the IFA- the premier display for home appliances and consumer electronics- from 4th– 9th September in Berlin.
