LG has unveiled its long awaited G3 smartphone at an event held in London. The phone is successor to company’s G2 smartphone launched last year. The highlight of the device is its 2560×1440 pixel resolution which is the highest so far in any of the existing smartphones.
The LG G3 sports a 5.5-inch display Quad HD IPS display. Under the hood, there’s a 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor. There are two variants in terms of internal storage- 16GB and 32GB. The storage capacity can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. The 16GB variant features 2GB RAM whereas the 32GB variant features 3GB RAM. For imaging purpose, there’s a 13MP rear camera with dual-LED flash, optical image stabilization and laser-assisted autofocus. The front sports a 2.1MP camera. The device runs on Google’s latest Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS and is backed by 3000mAh battery.

Other features of the device are Smart Keyboard, Smart Notice, Knock Code, Guest Mode etc. The device measures 146.3 x 74.6 x 8.9 mm and weighs 150 grams.
