Lenovo Z6 ProAfter being subjected to several leaks and teasers, Lenovo has finally launched its latest flagship smartphone dubbed as Lenovo Z6 Pro. The phone, which is successor to company’s last year’s Lenovo Z5 Pro, was launched at a press event in China. Unlike its predecessor that focused more on the design than on the internals, the Z6 Pro packs a good set of flagship-grade specs. Some of the highlights of the device include Snapdragon 855 SoC, quad rear camera module, in-display fingerprint scanner, 12GB of RAM and 512GB of inbuilt storage. Lets have a look at the pricing of the device before we discuss the specs in detail.

Lenovo Z6 Pro Price

The Lenovo Z6 Pro has been priced in China as follows,

  • 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant priced at RMB 2,899 (roughly Rs. 30,000)
  • 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage vraint priced at RMB 2,999 (roughly Rs. 31,000)
  • 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage vraint priced at RMB 3,799 (roughly Rs. 40,000)
  • 12GB RAM + 512GB internal storage variant priced at RMB 4,999 (roughly Rs. 52,000)

There will be two colour options available for the interested buyers- Blue and Red.

Lenovo Z6 Features and Specifications

As mentioned earlier, the Lenovo Z6 Pro packs flagship-grade specs. It sports a 6.39-inch AMOLED display that bears full-HD+ resolution and sixth-gen in-display fingerprint sensor which comes with increased fingerprint recognition area, faster unlock support, and ability to even detect wet fingers. In addition, the phone also gets Face Unlock support as an added security feature. The device draws its power from Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 855 SoC along with Adreno 640 GPU. Company has also included PC-grade Coldfront liquid cooling system in the phone for better heat dissipation and performance management. In terms of memory, there’s up to 12GB of RAM and up to 512GB of inbuilt storage. It runs Android 9 Pie operating system with Lenovo’s own ZUI 11 on top and includes a number of software enhancements like Game Turbo mode, U-Touch, U Health, and more. All of this is backed by a 4,000mAh battery which supports 27W fast charging. The battery also has support for reverse charging.

In the imaging department you get an impressive quad camera set up on the rear which is combination of a 48-megapixel primary camera + 16-megapixel wide-angle camera + 8-megapixel telephoto camera and 2-megapixel TOF camera. The rear camera set up is backed by AI (Super Night Scene, Super Macro, Super Wide Angle etc.) and features OIS. There’s a 32-megapixel snapper on the front for selfies and video calls.

Notably, Lenovo also plans to bring a 5G variant of the Z6 Pro to China, but at the moment there’s no more information available regarding the same. Information regarding the phone’s availability in markets outside of China is also still unknown.

In terms of connectivity, the Lenovo Z6 Pro features 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, dual-frequency GPS, a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm audio jack.
