Based on the past teasers, the Lenovo Z5 will sport almost bezel-less display with 95% screen-to-body ratio and without the notch. The phone will feature an impressive 4TB storage and a battery with 45 day long standby time on single charge. Another teaser displayed a gradient glass back panel and the ZUK user interface known as ZUI.

Recently the phone was also leaked in unofficial renders showing the near bezel-less display with a small chin which hosts the front selfie camera and the accompanying sensors. Usually the top notch hosts the earpiece and the front camera, but as there is no notch (to achieve more screen-to-body ratio), the company has shifted the camera to the bottom. However, the earpiece is nowhere to be seen, so it may involve tech similar to the one driving the Mi Mix with the vibrating screen replacing the speaker.

Other speculated specifications include 6GB of RAM, Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 octa-core chipset, 3,200mAh battery capacity and Android 8.1 Oreo operating system with some customizations added on top by Lenovo.

We are just a few days away from the launch event and the more official teasers are expected from Chang Cheng. Stay tuned and we’ll get you all the updates on upcoming Lenovo Z5.
