Lenovo Unveils Moto Z (2018) Kingsman Special Edition In Chinaby Ajinkya October 25, 2017
Motorola, now owned by the Chinese company Lenovo, has announced the Moto Z (2018) and Moto Z (2018) Kingsman Special Edition in China. What you get is essentially a re-branded Moto Z2 Force barring the Gold M logo at the back and some special bundled accessories.
Motorola Moto Z (2018) comes with a brushed metal finish on the back. The phone is made of series 7000 aluminum. It sports a 5.5-inch AMOLED 2K display. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 SoC (System on Chip). It comes with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 2 TB via microSD card slot. On the photography front, the handset sports a dual Sony IMX386 12MP cameras at the rear in a monochrome + RGB configuration. The selfie-shooter is a 5 MP OmniVision 5695 camera with an LED flash.
The device is backed by a 3490 mAh battery with TurboPower charging feature. Wireless charging comes bundled with the device. Motorola has also introduced USB-C earphones which it refers to as world’s first USB-C Hi-Fi headphones. It is the in-ear type with a 120 cm long braided cable and an in-line control with volume buttons and a call button.
Moving on to the Moto Z 2018 Kingsman VIP Special Edition, it comes with extra goodies. It is packaged in an interesting black box designed like a briefcase to go with the movie tie-in. It contains a VIP Card, TurboPower battery mod, wireless charging mod, USB-C to 3.5 mm audio adapter, leather flip case, the USB-C Hi-Fi audio headphones, and a warranty card.
The Moto Z 2018 Kingsman VIP Special Edition is priced at a whopping CNY 9,999 which roughly translates to about 1 Lakh rupees. Let’s hope there are enough people in China who inspire to be spies.
