Lenovo has been delivering good hardware at aggressive pricing. Under this strategy, Lenovo has rolled out another budget handset, the K8. Priced at Rs 10,499, this handset aims to go against the mighty Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 which sells at a similar price point.
The Lenovo K8 sports a sleek metal body. It offers a compact 5.2-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P20 chipset clocked at 2.3 GHz. It comprises of an octa-core 64-bit 16nm processor coupled with ARM Mali T880 MP2 GPU. To handle multitasking, the phone is equipped with 3 GB RAM. The internal storage is 32 GB and you can add more via a microSD card slot.
The K8 opts for a conventional single lens 13 MP camera. It has PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) and LED flash. There is a selfie shooter with an 8MP sensor, which also gets an LED flash for low-light self-portraits.
The entertainment aspect is handled by Dolby Atmos surround sound. Other features included are 4G VoLTE, WiFi 820.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB OTG. The fingerprint sensor is placed at the back and the phone comes with a 4000 mAh massive battery. The Lenovo K8 comes in Venom Black and Fine Gold options and will be available in online and offline retail stores from today.
