Lenovo, the technology giant from China, has launched its new V-series laptop for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and startups.

The laptop named “V330” will be priced beginning Rs. 48,000 onwards. The “V330” laptop is extremely entrepreneur-friendly and is equipped with features such as an ultra-bay drive that can play host to an optical drive or an additional battery. It could also house a QuickCharge battery, a spill-resistant backlit keyboard, a USB-C type and USB 3.0 ports.

“SMEs are the backbone of the country’s economy and are facing a digital crossroad in keeping their existing infrastructure versus expanding on mobile computing to meet the challenging demands of their customers. With the launch of the V-series, we want to address our focus towards the next wave of business professionals and entrepreneurs who need affordable computing on the go without compromising on performance or security,” said Ashish Sikka, Director – SMB at Lenovo India, in the official statement on the launch by the company.

The “V330” comes with a ThinkShutter. It is a webcam cover that also brings along a touch-type fingerprint reader. The laptop is thin and sleek to match the agile and always on-the-move vibes of startups. The “V330” is powered by Intel’s technology and accounts for security, flexibility and reliability of such a device. Its 14-inch Full-HD anti-glare display comes with a resolution of 1920 x 1080. It also packs in a 720p webcam with camera shutter.
Lenovo has refreshed its “Think” line-up last month and has incorporated a new range of products such as “ThinkPad X1”. The products under the “Think” series (including the “T”, “X”, and “L” series), is powered by the 8th-Generation of Intel Core processors.
