Lenovo has announced its latest Windows machine with a detachable base. Called the Tablet 10, this slate runs Windows 10 and features a 10-inch screen. Although the tablet looks slim, its bezels are quite big.
It is powered by Intel Celeron N Series processors. The tablet will be ideal to implement vertical applications in healthcare and retail sector. For authentication, it features fingerprint reader and discrete Trusted Platform Module for business-class protection.
Like other ThinkPad tablets, Tablet 10 also comes with an integrated rechargeable pen, up to 9 hours of battery life and Wireless WAN support. The detachable base offers you a conventional way of input with a chiclet keyboard. At this point, there is no information on whether the base station also contains additional battery.
Lenovo did not reveal any pricing details on Tablet 10. But, we believe that it could be a mid-range device. The tablet will be available from January 2018 and could be showcased in CES 2018.
