While there were rumours about Apple saying goodbye to the 3.5 mm audio jack to make a phone sleek, the Chinese firm LeEco has done it already. They revealed their next-generation smartphones at a launch in China and boy! They were next generation worthy. An upgrade to the Le Max, Le 1 and Le 1 Pro, LeEco launched the Le Max 2, Le 2 and Le 2 Pro in India. The three smartphones are the first to bid adieu to the 3.5 mm jack, and take up the USB Type-C audio connector. The company also launched its compatible VR headset along with the new smartphones.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS powers the new LeEco’s phones. Wrapped in a metal case the phone has Emotion UI 5.6.01. You can get your hands on one of their phones on their official website.
After the success of the LeEco Le 1, the Le 2 comes with an amazing 5.5-inch screen with a Full HD display. One can opt for the deca-core MediaTek Helio X20 SoC or a deca-core MediaTek Helio X25 processor. With its powerful 3000 mAh battery and fast charging, you won’t have to stay away from your phone for too long. However, the company did not bring this phone in India; the reason is yet unknown.
The Le Max 2 is the big brother of the lot. Packed with a 21 MP Sony sensor camera on the rear and an 8 MP front camera, the Max 2 comes with a 64 GB storage capacity. 3100 mAh battery and some super fast charging for it with the Qualcomm Quick Charging 3.0.
