We don’t know what’s happening on the borders with our Chinese counterparts, but here in the tech market, the Chinese have surely taken over! The Chinese electronics giant, LeEco, launched its power-packed smartphones in India, providing the users with a pocket-friendly smartphone, and the competitors with stiff competition. We are, of course, referring to the Rs. 10,999 Le 1S which packs in amazing specs and features. Continue reading to find out more about this super smartphone…

A beautiful blend of silver and golden make the Le 1S a phone to affectionately stare at. A unibody design, the elegant looking smartphone is built of quality aluminum which works in the phone’s favor to make it look premium and classy. With high-end smartphones like Apple’s iPhone donning aluminum too, it is pleasantly surprising to see a smartphone with a similar material at ¼ the price.

The LeEco Le 1S sports a 5.5” Full HD display which puts the pixel density at a brilliant 403ppi. This means that you have a screen that befits any HD movie that you may want to watch on your phone and does justice to the clarity of the pictures that you have clicked…which brings us to the Le 1S’ camera specs.

The camera on the Le 1S seems pretty good with a 13MP camera with LED flash and phase-detection autofocus as its primary shooter. If you video chat often and swear by your selfies, then the 5MP front camera will appeal to you. For the director in you, the camera also supports slow motion video recording.

Seeing how a smartphone is in part, defined by its multitasking capabilities, one of Le 1S tests is certainly its processor and RAM. Thankfully for the Chinese product, it scores well on both these fronts. The smartphone is powered by a 64-bit octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 chipset which clocks a speed of 2.2 GHz. When you couple this with the 3GB of RAM incorporated in the device, you get a mean little machine that allows you to run multiple tasks at the same time, without issuing a groan. However, one of the shortcomings of the Le 1S is its internal memory capacity 32GB which cannot be supplemented by any external memory card slots. So if you think that 32GB is far too less for your everyday needs, you may want to overlook this otherwise brilliant smartphone.

The dual SIM smartphone supports 4G connectivity and boasts of a powerful 3000mAh battery which uses USB Type-C for faster charging. Furthermore, the phone is equipped with an infrared port that allows it to act as an infrared R.C for your TV or set-top box!

All in all, LeEco’s Le 1S is surely a smartphone to look out for this quarter, as a smartphone with such striking specs is almost impossible to find for such a low price.
