The Moto leak on Droid-Life is getting bigger, as the Moto X5 has now joined the ranks of G6, G6 Plus G6 Play, and Moto Z3 Play. The Moto X5 follows the design language of the Moto X4 launched last year. It sports an aluminium chassis sandwiched between the front and the rear glass. It has a signature camera bump at the back. The phone sports a 5.9-inch Full HD+ display with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution and a tall aspect ratio of 18:9. There’s also an iPhone X like notch at the top of the display. The notch houses the earpiece flanked by two dual selfie cameras. At the side you get the physical volume rockers and the power on/off button. The ‘M’ badge at the rear of the phone could feature a fingerprint sensor. Motorola might even go for a face unlock technology.

Going by the image, there is no physical home button at the front. Instead it features the ‘Motorola’ branding at the bottom bezel. For navigation, the Moto X5 gets a white horizontal on-screen bar at the bottom of the screen. This suggests that the phone may get a gesture control for navigation like that of the iPhone X. The handset could be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630/660 SoC (System on Chip). The company could also unveil Moto XP’s which is its AI (Artificial Intelligence) based technology.
