Lava Iris 406Q with 4-inch display and 3G support listed online at Rs. 6999

Lava’s new smartphone named Iris 406Q is now listed on for pre-order at Rs. 6999. The phone is also listed on company’s website but without the pricing and availability details. As per the listing on online megastore Flipkart, the phone’s estimated release date is 3rd week of April. The listing also features an EMI option starting from Rs. 618.

lava-iris-406-QThe 4-inch Lava Iris 406Q sports an IPS display and is powered by 1.2GHz Quad Core Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor with Adreno 302 Graphics Unit coupled with 1GB RAM. The dual-SIM (GAM + GSM) device runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box but it can be upgraded to Google’s latest Android 4.4 KitKat. The internal storage capacity of the device is 4GB which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. In terms of snapper, the phone hosts a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP front-facing camera.

In terms of dimensions, the device measures 64x124x10.3 mm.
