Finally, Samsung, the smart phone giant officially announces March 14 as the launch date for its brand new creation – the Galaxy SIV in New York. Surrounded with a bunch of rumours and lot of media hype for quite a while now, Galaxy SIV is slated to give Apple, its competitor a tough time.

The Galaxy SIV will be featuring a higher resolution display and a faster processor compared to its predecessor. While most of its features still seem to be quite rumored, they probably give you an idea of what you can expect. Let’s have a look.Samsung Galaxy SIV

  • 1.9 GHz Snapdragon processor
  • 5 inch 1920 x 1080 display
  • 2 GB RAM
  • 16, 32 or 64 GB internal memory
  • 13 MP primary camera
  • 2 MP secondary camera

Now, if all of that is true, it surely deserves to be the next addition to your gadget list. 1.9 GHz quad-core processor – that’s too hot to handle. Moreover, the handset houses a 2 GB RAM, while its predecessor features a 1 GB RAM. The larger 5 inch screen offers an improved resolution of 1920 x 1080, which is more than just amazing. While the Samsung Galaxy SIII sports an 8 MP camera, the Samsung S IV pumps in an impressive 13 MP camera. The gadget comes with 16, 32 and a 64 GB of internal memory. It will be available in two colours – black and white.

Again, it is too early to comment on the features, but you can surely expect something quite close to the specifications listed above. Initially, the phone will be available in the United States. So, you will probably have to wait for a while until the gadget hits the Indian market.
