Domestic smartphone and computer component manufacturer, Intex, announced its first phone with dual front camera. Dubbed Elyt Dual, the smartphone features a sleek metal body design.
It is ergonomic owing to a compact 5-inch IPS HD 2.5D curved display. It has HD resolution with 720 x 1280 pixels. The Elyt Dual is powered by a Spreadtrum SC9850 SoC (System on Chip) which consists of 1.3 GHz quad-core Cortex A7 cores. Spreadtrum is used mostly in low-end smartphones. The phone is equipped with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB onboard storage which is expandable via the microSD card slot up to 32 GB.
Connectivity features include Wi-Fi b/g/n, Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.0, 4G VoLTE connectivity, Dual-Sim, microUSB 2.0, USB OTG and A-GPS. It duly covers a 3.5 mm audio jack and FM radio.
The highlight of this smartphone is the 8 MP + 2 MP dual camera setup at the front. It comes with autofocus and promises to capture bokeh effect shots. The camera offers fine control over the blur in the background. In fact, you can also change the background by editing.
Intex has added 3D Noise Reduction, Smile Shutter, Dermabrasion, Complexion, Enlarge Eye, and Slim Face options to enhance your pictures. The rear camera is an 8 MP shooter with f/2.0 aperture. It features HDR and Continuous Shot modes.
The Intex Elyt Dual runs Android v7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box and draws power from a 2400 mAh battery. Intex has not revealed the pricing details yet, but itis expected to cost around Rs 6000.
