The Hong Kong based Infinix Mobile has unveiled the Zero X series in the global markets. The series will include a standard variant along with a Pro and a Neo variant. We have witnessed a few design and specification leaks last week. The brand has made everything official except the pricing.

The all-new series will be next in line with last year’s Infinix 8 and it also shares a similar design language. The Zero X series will be equipped with advanced camera setup with Super Moon mode to capture our satellite in detail, all thanks to the 60x periscope lens.

Infinix Zero X series: Key specs & features

The Pro and standard Zero X will come with a 6.67” AMOLED panel that will produce Full HD+ resolution. The panel on these two devices will come with a punch-hole cutout in the top-center and the screen will also come with 120Hz refresh rate. The Infinix Zero Neo will come with a 90Hz LCD panel with a size of 6.68” producing FHD+ resolution. The camera module on the Zero X series will be housed in a rectangular frame and the series will also offer an in-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics.

Moving to the optical setup, all the three smartphones come with a triple-camera system where the primary sensor is a 108-megapixel lens on the Zero X and Zero X Pro variants. The primary lens will be paired with a periscope lens of 8MP that offers 60x hybrid zoom and 5x optical zoom. There will also be an ultra-wide sensor of 8-megapixel. The Zero X Neo will sport a primary sensor of 48-megapixel paired with 2MP ultra-wide and 8MP periscope sensor. The series will come equipped with EIS and OIS, a hybrid image stabilization technology. Also, users will get Super Moon mode to capture detailed images of the moon.

At its core, the Zero X series will come equipped with MediaTek Helio G95 chipset and ARM-based MALI-G76 graphics card. The series will come with 8 gigs of RAM and the onboard storage will be 128GB, further expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. The memory can be further expanded virtually up to 3GB. The elder siblings will sport a 4,500 mAh battery with fast charging support of 45W whereas Zero X Neo will come with 5,000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

The all-new Infinix series will boot on Android 11 with a custom XOS 7.6 skin on the top. A few connectivity options are dual-SIM 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, a 3.5mm audio port, USB Type-C port, and more.

Pricing and availability

The Infinix Zero X series will be available in two color options, Nebula Black and Starry Silver. The elder siblings will come in two more color options, Bahamas Blue and Tuscany Brown. The Nebula Black will come with a speckled rear panel that will offer it a standout look. The brand hasn’t yet revealed the pricing, it only revealed that the prices will differ according to the region.
