The Hong Kong tech giant Infinix has launched its latest Note 12 Pro 4G in the Indian market last week. However, a more premium 5G variant with the same spec sheet was revealed in July. Under the Note 12 lineup from the brand, the latest 4G variant will be the third device in the country.

Compared with the 5G Note 12 Pro, the brand is offering identical specs and features on the 4G model apart from the chipset. In the market, it will give a tough competition to the likes of Realme 9i, Redmi Note 11, Vivo T1x, etc. Let’s take a deeper dive into the salient features.

Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G: Key specs & features

The latest smartphone from Infinix will greet you by a bigger 6.7” screen that will produce FHD+ resolution. The AMOLED panel on the Note 12 Pro 4G will also carry a water drop notch and the power button will come integrated with the fingerprint scanner for biometric security. On the rear shell, the device features a gradient design where the chunkier circular camera module sits on the top-left section. It will house a triple camera module with a primary 108MP sensor paired with dual 2MP lenses for depth and monochrome shots. On the front, Infinix is offering a 16MP sensor for selfies and video conferencing.

At its core, the all-new Infinix offering will be powered by MediaTek’s Helio G99 SoC, it will be the debut smartphone in the country with this chipset. The processor is built on a 6nm structure. In terms of memory and storage, it comes with 8 gigs of RAM with an option to further expand it by 5GB using virtual RAM feature. Infinix is offering 256 GB of internal storage with an option to expand using a microSD card.

The smartphone is backed up by a 5,000 mAh battery that has the fast charging capabilities of 33W. A few connectivity options are NFC, VoLTE, a 3.5mm combo jack, USB Type-C, and more.

Pricing and availability

The all-new Infinix Note 12 Pro 4G will be available in three color options; Volcanic Gray, Tuscany Blue, and Alpine White. The smartphone will be launched with a price tag of ₹16,999. There is a ₹1,500 discount on prepaid purchases along with 500 SuperCoins, making it available at an effective price of ₹14,999. The first sale will commence on September 1 through e-commerce giant Flipkart. Apart from the price discount, Infinix is also bundling Snokor XE 18 truly wireless earbuds at just ₹1. The earbuds are worth ₹1,099 in the retail market.
