The Hong Kong based tech player has unveiled its two smartphones Infinix Note 12 and Note 12 Turbo in the Indian market. The duo will further expand the Infinix lineup in the country and the devices like Note 12i, Note 12 (G96), and Note 12 VIP are already available for purchase in the global markets. This will be the debut of the Note 12 lineup in the country.

For the key specs, the Note 12’s standard and Turbo variant will sport an AMOLED panel that will carry a punch hole cutout for the front sensor. The main optical setup will come equipped with a 50-megapixel sensor. The CPU powering the devices will be from MediaTek and the package will be backed up by a bigger battery. Infinix Note 12: Key specs & features

The 6.7-inch AMOLED panel on the Infinix Note 12 will produce FHD+ resolution and the aspect ratio will be 20:9. The panel will be able to attain a peak brightness of 1,000 nits and the refresh rate will be 60Hz. The punch hole cutout will house a selfie camera of 16 megapixels.

The rear design features a large camera bump with a primary 50-megapixel sensor. The main lens will be accompanied by a dedicated AI sensor and a 2MP lens for depth shots. The camera island will also be a home to a quad-LED flash. The smartphone will boot on a couple year old Android 11 OS, it will come skinned with XOS 10.6. The device will come with a fingerprint scanner integrated with the power button and facial unlock powered by AI.

At its core, the Infinix Note 12 will come equipped with MediaTek Helio G88. The chipset will be paired with 128GB of onboard storage and 6 gigs of RAM. The whole package comes backed up by a 5,000 mAh battery that comes with 33W fast charging support. A few connectivity features are Wi-Fi, dual-SIM slots, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, a 3.5mm audio port, USB Type-C connectivity, and more.

Infinix Note 12 Turbo: Key specs & features

The premium variant from the two, the all-new Infinix Note 12 Turbo is seen to be borrowing a majority of the specs from the younger sibling. The 6.7” AMOLED panel will produce the FHD+ resolution and the whole optical setup will also be identical. The smartphone comes packed with 8 gigs of memory and 128 GB of onboard storage. The battery unit will also be the same with 5,000 mAh unit and will support up to 33W of fast charging. The big update comes in the form of chipset where Infinix is offering MediaTek Helio G96 SoC.

Infinix is offering a dedicated 10-layer graphene heat dissipation system. This variant is basically a rebranded copy of globally available Note 12 (G96).

Pricing and availability

The vanilla variant of the Infinix Note 12 series will come in three color options; Sunset Gold, Force Black, and Jewel Blue. There will be two storage and memory combinations; 4GB+64GB and 6GB+128GB available with a price tag of ₹11,999 and ₹12,999, respectively. The Turbo variant will only be on sale in a single 8GB+128GB variant with a retail price of ₹14,999. The smartphone will be available in multiple color options such as Snowfall, Force Black, and Sapphire Blue. The official online retail partner is Flipkart and the first sale of Note 12 will commence on May 27 whereas the Turbo will be available a day later on May 28.

For the Axis Bank cardholders, Infinix is offering a direct ₹1,000 off. Along with it, buyers will also get to avail the no-cost EMI option starting as low as ₹2,000.
