The tech giant Infinix has finally unveiled the all-new INBook X2 Plus in the Indian market. The brand also launched the Infinix 43 Y1 TV. The latest addition to the laptop segment by Infinix is next in line with the INBook X2 that was launched earlier this year in January. The brand stepped into the laptop arena with its debut device INBook X1 last year. Infinix also launched the INBook X1 Slim in June 2022.

Coming to the latest add-on, there is a significant bump up in the spec sheet compared to the INBook X2. The primary difference between the two is the screen size, the X2 Plus has a 15.6” panel whereas the X2 was a 14” laptop. With 65W charging support, the laptop comes with a backlit keyboard and 11th-gen i7 processing chip.

Infinix INBook X2 Plus: Key specs & features

The laptop will greet you with a 15.6” screen producing FHD resolution with a pixel count of 1920*1080 and 100% sRGB along with 72% NTSC color calibration. The panel will reach a peak brightness of 300 nits. At its core, the INBook X2 Plus will have three processor options, Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7. All the chipsets will be 11th-gen Intel chips. The base variant with i3 chip comes equipped with UHD graphics whereas the i5 and i7 variants will have Iris Xe onboard.

In terms of memory and storage, the INBook X2 Plus will come with up to 16 gigs of memory and 512GB of high speed NVMe 3.0 SSD storage. On the software front, the laptop will boot on Windows 11 Home Edition. The battery capacity on the machines will be 50Wh with fast charging speeds of up to 65W through USB Type-C. On a single charge, Infinix claims to provide 10 hours of continuous video streaming.

The latest Infinix addition will sport a 1080p webcam paired with dual mics and LED fill lights for better low-light performance. A few connectivity options users will get are WiFi 6, 2x USB Type-C (including PD charging & data transfer), an HDMI port, 2x USB 3.0, a 3.5mm audio jack, a SD card slot, and Bluetooth 5.2. In terms of audio, Infinix is offering DTS Audio with stereo speaker setup. The laptop comes with a metal unibody design, it weighs 1.58 kgs and a thickness of just 14.9mm.

Pricing and availability

The all-new Infinix INBook X2 Plus will be available in three color options, Red, Gray, and Blue. The base model with i3 chip and 8GB+256GB combination will be priced at ₹32,990 whereas the same variant with 512GB storage will cost ₹35,990. The Core i5 model with 8GB+512GB combination will be priced at ₹42,990 and the top-end Core i7 variant with 512GB storage and 16 gigs memory will get a price tag of ₹52,990.

The first official sale will commence on October 18 through Flipkart.
