Tablets are all rage now, and at the same time, the market is full of all sort sorts of tablets. There are basically two broad categories of tablets in the market. One is the 10 inch display category, which is led primarily by Apple iPad and then there’s the 7 inch tablet category. It’s a lively debate, as to which of these make the perfect tablet size; but in the end, your preference matters the most. Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 is a 10.1 inch tablet, with an interesting set of features. If you are considering buying a tablet, Lenovo IdeaTab will make a nice choice. Let’s look at its features in details.

Lenovo IdeaTab S6000Design:
The design is pretty standard. It’s slim (. 3 inches), doesn’t weigh much and has a very standard design. It won’t win design competitions, but for an average user it won’t turn out to be very bad either. The back has a nice textured finish, which would give a very nice grip.

S6000 comes with a 10.1 inch IPS display, which renders a resolution of 1280-by-800 pixels. For a tablet this big, it is a seriously low number, especially when you consider other tablets which have such a crisp display. The IPS display would certainly give wider viewing angles and is better when it comes to color saturation and other display details. It’s bright too, at 350 Nit. However, overall, the display isn’t very impressive. Lenovo IdeaTab S6000 is marketed as an entertainment tabloid. You can browse web alright, but if you are into watching high definition videos, you won’t be very impressed.

IdeaPad S6000 comes with a 1.2 GHz quad core processor, and 1 GB of RAM. It also has 16 GB internal storage, which can be expanded using MicroSD cards. The overall performance is very good when it comes to playing games and all. But for actually performing the tasks on the tablet, is a little tough. The tablet is full of apps and features which slow down the performance. You can remove most of them. On paper, the tablet is very good. The RAM and processor combination is great, and is guaranteed to give some solid platform to work on.

It comes with a sober camera suite – a 5 MP rear camera and a 0.3 MP front facing camera. The interesting thing about the rear camera is that it comes with LED flash. There are very few Android tablets which actually have that feature.

OS and other feature:
IdeaPad S6000 comes loaded with Android Jelly Bean 4.2. Most of it is like the stock Android, but there are some extra features that Lenovo has added. For example, there is the subscription based gaming service, and also Norton Mobile, which come with the OS. Among other things there’s WI-Fi, micro HDMI port for feeding videos to an HDTV, dual speakers for enhanced gaming and movie watching experience. There is also the Bluetooth keyboard which can come handy at times

IdeaPad S6000 is a very good tablet. It’s big, has solid hardware and is certainly a top notch Android tablet. If you want to find the best deal at IdeaPad S6000 visit and enjoy the benefits of the ready to use discount offers and deals.

Hello! I just purchased the Lenovo IdeaTab S6000, mainly because I have a Lenovo Laptop, that I think is great. I have had a 64gb iPad, since it’s existence but it crashes all of the time when I’m trying to do something on it. The Lenovo Tablet did not come with much user manual material, or anything describing the way it works, setup instruction, so I was wanting to know if anyone out there is familiar with this product and could recommend any reading material to educate myself on my new Tablet?
