A few months ago, Idea shocked the audiences by launching ‘Ivory‘ the cheapest Android ICS based smartphone. The handset was introduced with a price tag of Rs. 7390. With an intention to take it further, Idea recently launched another Android smartphone with a Dual-SIM support. The gadget will cost you something around Rs. 5,390.Idea Zeal Mobile

  • 1 GHz Snapdragon processor
  • Android 2.3 Gingerbread
  • 3.5 inch display
  • 256 MB RAM
  • 3 MP primary camera with auto focus
  • 512 MB internal storage

For now, the 3G handset runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Idea should have pumped in a better RAM. The 3 MP auto focus camera is truly justified at a price that low. The internal storage memory can be extended upto 32 GB via a micoSD card. Other features include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and a bundle of built-in apps such as Facebook, Orkut, Twitter, YouTube, Idea TV and Google. Moreover, the Zeal also comes with a bundled data-plan. With a 3G pack of Rs. 261, you get to enjoy a free data usage of 1 GB each month for the first three months. Moreover, the pack also includes free Idea TV for a limited period.

At 5,390, the handset surely turns out to be a good deal. However, an upgrade to Android ICS and a relatively better RAM would have made things a bit more interesting. But, overall the features seem to be quite decent. So, if you have already shortlisted a few budget Android smartphones, but looking out for a couple of more options, make sure you add this one to your list. compareraja.in can help you locate the best deal on the same.
