Home grown smartphone manufacturer iBall has introduced two new Android smartphones in India dubbed as Andi4 Gem and Andi4 IPS Velvet. Both Andi4 Gem and Andi4 IPS Velvet budget phones are now listed on company’s website for Rs. 5699 and Rs. 5199 respectively. The Andi4 IPS Velvet is also available on eCommerce store Flipkart.com for Rs. 4098.
Both Andi4 Gem and Andi4 IPS Velvet sport a 4-inch IPS display with 480×800 pixel resolution and pixel density of 233 pixels per inch. Both the dual-SIM (GSM + GSM) smartphones are powered by a 1.3GHz dual-core processor along with 256MB RAM. They run on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS out-of-the-box. Internal storage capacity of the devices is 2GB which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. In terms of camera, there’s a 5MP primary camera with LED flash and a 0.3MP VGA front-facing camera for video calling. Connectivity options include- WiFi, EDGE/GPRS, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS with A-GPS, but the Andi4 Gem also supports 3G connectivity. Both phones are backed by 1300mAh battery.
