Huawei is all set to launch its latest Honor series smartphone – Honor 7c at a launch event in China that will be held on 12th March. The official invite for the event has been posted by the company. The invite gives more insights into its latest mid-range smartphone. The Huawei Honor 7c is a budget version of Honor 7x. While the Honor 7x has better features, Honor 7c will have dual camera, face recognition with capability to beautify images and a 5.99-inch display. It supports dual SIM. Last month, the phone made an appearance on TENAA, a certification website.

The official invite for the Honor 7c launch event in Beijing, China, was also made public in a report by GizChina. The report claimed that the smartphone will be priced at around $249.99, which works out to about Rs. 16,300. The phone will be priced to compete with the Xiaomi Redmi 5. The report reveals that Honor 7c will have a metal body and will feature an antenna design. In addition to the three-stage antenna design, Honor 7c will also have an HD+ display (1440 x 720 pixels) with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Its processor would be 1.8 Ghz octa-core and it will have 3GB/ 4GB RAM and 32 GB storage. The dual camera at the rear will have 20 -megapixel and 13-megapixel sensors and the front camera would have 8-megapixel sensor. The Honor 7C will be powered by Android Oreo and a 2900mAh battery.

The Honor 7C has included Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS as its connectivity options. At 164 grams, it is a light phone and its dimensions are 158.3×76.7×7.8mm.

The Honor 7c will be available in three colour options namely Black, Gold and Blue.
