Huawei may not have a crazy fan following like that of Apple or Samsung, but it is still a successful mobile brand nonetheless. Much of the credit goes to its pocket-friendly Honor smartphone brand. It also had a spark of genius in the mid-range thanks to the Honor 8 Pro. It is no surprise then the company’s upcoming high-end smartphone is keeping the rumour mills running.
The latest leak about the handset comes from @evleaks, who has a great track record when it comes to speculations. He has posted a photograph of the device. Going by the image, the phone comes with extremely thin bezels. By doing away with the home button, the company has also managed to keep the top and bottom bezels under check.
At IFA 2017, Huawei CEO Richard Yu confirmed that the Mate 10 will be powered by in-house Kirin 970 SoC (System on Chip). This chip comes with a Neural Processing Unit, which integrates various image and signal processing components right onto a single die (integrated circuit). As per the previous leak by our frequent collaborator @OnLeaks, the phone will sport a 5.9-inch screen and is likely to sport a glass back. A dual lens camera assembly is also on the cards.
