Huawei Y9 (2019)Huawei’s Y9 (2019) was subjected to several leaks and rumours in the recent past and now the company has finally taken the wraps off the same in its home town. The phone is successor of Y9 (2018) that was launched last year.

Huawei Y9 (2019) Pricing and Availability Details:

As of now the company has only revealed details regarding specifications of the phone and the pricing details are yet to be disclosed. The phone will go on sale later in the month and will come in three colour options- Midnight Black, Blue Swarovski, and Aurora Purple.

Huawei Y9 (2019) Software and Hardware Configurations:

The Huawei Y9 (2019) sports a 6.2-inch Full HD+ FullView IPS display with a screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels and aspect ratio of 19.5:9 resulting into 91 percent screen-to-body ratio. The screen comes with 2.5D curved glass on top. Under the hood, the phone draws power from company’s own Kirin 710 octa-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz paired with Mali-G51 GPU for graphics. In terms of storage, there will be two variants available- 4GB RAM + 64GB inbuilt storage and 6GB RAM + 128GB inbuilt storage. The storage can be expanded further up to 400GB by means of a microSD card. The device runs Android 8.1 (Oreo) operating system out of the box topped with EMUI 8.2 and is fueled by a 4,000mAh battery with support for fast charging.

In terms of optics, there’s a vertically stacked dual camera module on the rear which comprises of 16-megapixel primary sensor and 2-megapixel secondary sensor with LED flash. On the front as well, there’s a dual camera module consisting of 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor for selfies and video calls.

Huawei has not shared the exact launch dates, but the phone is expected to hit the market by mid of October. Notably, it will be launched in China as Huawei Enjoy 9 Plus.
