The new Huawei Y9 (2019) is a youth-centric phone that comes with an attractive glass design in unique colour options. It has a vertically stacked dual rear camera module located in the upper right corner of the phone. There’s also a centrally located fingerprint sensor on the back along with a Huawei logo at the bottom right.

The Honor 8X comes with an all-glass body and boasts of a dual tone design on the back. The phone can reflect light differently depending on how you look at it. It comes in as many as three colour options- Blue, Black and Red.

In terms of storage, the phone comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.

The Honor 8X draws power from the company’s own octa-core Kirin 710 chipset. It comes with two RAM options- 4GB and 6GB. The 4GB option can be bought with 64GB or 128GB of inbuilt storage, and the 6GB RAM variant can be purchased with 128GB of inbuilt storage. All variants support storage expandability up to 400GB via a microSD card.

The Nokia 6.1 Plus is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 636 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. It comes with 64GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 400GB via microSD card.

The Huawei Y9 (2019) runs Honor’s EMUI 8.2 skin atop Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box, which is a bit of a setback considering that Android 9 Pie is already available for several months now. The device is fueled by a 4,000mAh battery, which the company can provide up to 52 hours talk time, 65 hours music playback, and 9 hours gaming, as claimed by the company.

The Honor 8X is shipped with Android 8.1 Oreo-based EMUI 8.2 and is backed by a 3,750mAh battery which uses micro-USB for charging.

The Nokia 6.1 Plus runs pure Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box. Under the hood, there’s a 3,060mAh battery to keep things ticking. The battery comes coupled with an 18W charger can deliver up to 50 percent of charge in 30 minutes, thanks to Quick Charge 3.0.

The Huawei Y9 (2019) is a winner in this department, thanks to its larger 4,000mAh battery capacity. The AI software also optimizes the battery making the device less power-hungry.

The front also features a dual camera module that comprises of a 16-megapixel primary sensor with an aperture of f/2.0 + a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with an aperture of f/2.4.

The Honor 8X gets a dual camera module on the on the back which includes a 20-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture + a 2-megapixel secondary sensor with PDAF. The front gets a 16-megapixel snapper with f/2.0 aperture for selfies and video calls.

The Nokia 6.1 Plus comes with a dual rear camera setup which comprises of a 16-megapixel primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture + a 5-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.0 aperture. Some of the modes include Live Bokeh, beauty, bothie, panorama, AR stickers and manual. For selfies, there’s a 16-megapixel sensor on the front.
