Huawei Y7 (2019) with 4,000mAh Battery and Snapdragon 450 Goes Official

Chinese smartphone maker Huawei has silently expanded its mid-range offering in the form of Huawei Y7 (2019) in Europe. The phone is a slightly downgraded version of Huawei Y7 Pro (2019) that was launched by the company in December last year. The highlights of the device include 4,000mAh battery, Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC and dual rear camera set up.

The Huawei Y7 (2019) is priced in European market at EUR 220 which roughly translates to Rs. 17,200 in India. The phone will be available in three colour options- Aurora Blue, Coral Red and Midnight Black. There is no word yet on the availability of the phone outside of Europe.

Huawei Y7 (2019) Features and Specifications

The Huawei Y7 (2019) comes equipped with 6.26-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD display with 720×1520 pixel screen resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The display comes with water drop style notch at the top which houses the selfie camera. The device is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC along with an Adreno 506 GPU and 3GB RAM. The inbuilt storage capacity of the device is 32GB with the option to expand the same up to 512GB using a microSD card (hybrid SIM slot). There’s a 4,000mAh capacity battery underneath to keep things ticking but it lacks support for fast charging. In terms of software the phone runs EMUI 8.2 based Android 8.1 Oreo OS out of the box. In terms of security, the phone comes with a fingerprint sensor and Face Unlock feature as well.

For imaging, there’s a vertically stacked dual camera set up placed on the top left corner which consists of a 13-megapixel main sensor + a 2-megapixel secondary sensor along with LED flash. For selfies, there’s an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
