Huawei Nova 4 Leaked Again in Press Renders: Reveals 4 Colour Options

by December 14, 2018

Huawei Nova 4 is one of the most anticipated devices of the 2018, thanks to its punch hole display design and 48-megapixel camera which makes it one of the first phones to feature such an impressive one in the mid-range segment. It has been subjected to several leaks and teasers ahead of the official launch. Recently, the company officially teased the Honey Red gradient colour option of the device and now the phone has been leaked again in press renders (via DroidShout) which reveal the four colour options as Red/Purple, Blue/Purple, White/Pearl Gradient colors along with classic Black. Please check the below renders…

If the above renders are believed to be true, then the Nova 4 will sport a sleek design with nearly bezel-less display. The back will feature a fingerprint sensor (no fancy in-display fingerprint) along with a vertically stacked triple camera set up which is placed at the top left corner. Based on the earlier reports, the primary camera is expected to be 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 in one of the variants, while the other variants will feature a 20-megapixel primary sensor along with secondary 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture + a third 2-megapxel sensor with f/2.4 aperture.

For those who are unaware, the Huawei Nova 4 is expected to sport a 6.4-inch full-HD+ display with screen resolution of 1,080 x 2,310 pixels and an unusual aspect ratio of 19.25:9. Some of the other speculated specifications include,

  • HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC
  • 8GB of RAM
  • 128GB of internal storage
  • 3,750mAh battery with 18W fast charging
  • Android 9 Pie-based EMUI 9.0
  • 4G VoLTE connectivity
  • Dual-SIM support
  • 47×74.8×8.2 mm

The official launch of the device is 17 December, so we’ll have to wait till then to find out the authenticity of the above renders. It will be interesting to know the screen-to-body ratio of the device since it is one of the first phones to feature an in-display camera hole. The other such phones are recently launched Samsung Galaxy A8s and upcoming Lenovo Z5s. So, if 20118 was about notched display then 2019 will be about punch-hole display.
