Huawei had launched the MateBook X Pro along with NVIDIA MX150 GPU for gamers earlier this year at the Mobile World Congress 2018. The company has now launched a new variant of the laptop that does not feature the dedicated NVIDIA graphics. The new variant of the laptop is targeted to professionals or the non-gaming segment.

Huawei has ensured that the new variant takes off from where the previous version left. The MateBook X Pro came with thin bezels all round to ensure that users have a more immersive and complete digital experience. The new variant of the MateBook X Pro, it packs in 13.9-inch LTPS touchscreen display. The resolution of the screen is 3,000 x 2,000 pixels. The display screen is designed in such a way that the screen-to-body ratio is extremely impressive at 91 percent. The new variant is powered by the Intel’s Core i7 processor which is complemented by 8GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage.

The new variant of the Huawei MateBook X Pro offers 12 hours of video playback and supports fast charging technology if information going around is to be believed. As for the connectivity options, the laptop seamlessly connects using USB Type-C ports, one USB-A port, and a headphone socket. The laptop packs in four speakers and four long-range microphones for Cortana.

The laptop’s keyboard is spill-proof to safeguard it from being damaged if water or food falls on it. There is a fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. It is interesting to note that a pop-up webcam has been placed in between the F7 and F8 keys. The new variant of the Huawei MateBook X Pro will be available for a price tag of around US$1,600, which converts to around Rs 1.1 lakhs. The new variant will be available for sale from the 28th of August.
