Huawei Mate 20 Lite To Start Selling Ahead Of Launch

Huawei is increasing its portfolio of the smartphones. The Chinese giant has recently started the Mate-series smartphones including Mate 20, Mate 20 Pro and Mate 20 Lite. Among the three, the Huawei Mate 20 Lite has been officially launched in Poland and the price of the smartphone in the country is PLN 1,599 which roughly converts to Rs 30,263. The Mate 20 Lite comes in three colour options namely Black, Gold, and Blue. The company offers a complimentary Huawei AH100 smart scale along with the smartphone.

The Huawei Mate 20 Lite is the most cost-effective of the three variants. The Huawei Mate 20 and Huawei Mate 20 Pro are set to be launched in London on 16 October.

The Huawei Mate 20 Lite sports a 6.3-inch Full-HD+ display. The resolution of the display screen is 2340 x 1080 pixels. The aspect ratio of the smartphone is 19.5:9. The smartphone is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 710 chipset four Cortex-A73 cores clocked at 2.2GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.7GHz and ARM Mali G5 GPU. The smartphone comes with enhanced security feature – fingerprint sensor on the rear.

As for the optics, the smartphone comes with four cameras. The rear camera setup with a 20MP primary shooter with f/1.8 aperture and a 2MP secondary sensor. The selfie camera packs in a 24MP+2MP sensor. It comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of in-built storage which can be further expanded to 256 GB via a microSD card. The smartphone is powered by a 3750mAh battery and it runs Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box along with the company’s own EMUI 8.2 and a 3,750mAh battery with fast charging technology.

As for the connectivity features, the smartphone offers a plethora of options including Dual SIM, Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth, GPS+ GLONASS, NFC, USB Type-C port. The smartphone is equipped with sensors on board including an Accelerometer, Gyroscope, Magnetometer, Light sensor and Proximity sensor.
