Huawei’s subsidiary brand Honor has kept the promise of pricing its 7X aggressively in India. The Honor 7X is priced at Rs 12,999 for the 32 GB storage version while the 64 GB storage version costs Rs 15,999. This makes it a strong contender against the Xiaomi Mi A1, which felt the heat and slashed rates today and now retails for Rs 12,999. The Honor 7X will be available exclusively on Amazon.in starting December 7 at 12 PM.
The Honor 7X succeeds the budget-centric camera phone Honor 6X in India, The &X ups the ante with a thin bezel design. It holds horizontally stacked dual cameras instead of the vertical ones and the rear mounted fingerprint sensor. The Honor 7X is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 659 SoC (System on Chip), which also does duty on the Honor 9i. It bears in 4 GB of RAM and comes in 32 GB/64 GB/ 128 GB variants. If that doesn’t suffice, it boasts an expandable card slot which can take microSD cards up to 256 GB.
For photography buffs, it offers dual cameras at the rear. It comes in 16 MP + 2 MP assembly. The secondary monochrome sensor captures depth information for bokeh effect. The Honor 7X skips the dual selfie cameras found on the Honor 9i due to its budget constraints and houses a single lens unit with an 8-megapixel sensor.
