Along with the Honor 7X, Huawei also introduced its mid-range smartphone Honor View 10 for India. It is essentially a re-branded version of the Honor V10, which was launched on November 28 in China. It will be available for purchase on January 8,2018 subsequently with other countries such as Germany, Italy, Russia, Spain, and United States. The Honor View 10 comes in Black and Blue colours and is priced at 499 euros (Rs 38,000 approx).
The Honor View 10 sports a metal unibody design complimenting the minimum bezel design language of the phone. It is just 7 mm thick at the sides. It gets a 6-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The fingerprint sensor finds home at the lower front bezel of the phone.
The talking point however is not the screen or its build, it’s what’s under the hood. The phone is powered by Octa-Core Huawei Kirin 970 chipset. It has 4 x 2.4 GHz A73+ 4 x 1.8 GHz A53 10nm processor + i7 co-processor. It also boasts of NPU (Neural Network Processing Unit), developed by Huawei to take on the likes of Snapdragon 835 powered rivals. the phone has 6 GB RAM with 64 GB / 128 GB storage options. The microSD card slot supports up to 256 GB of additional storage.
For the shutterbugs, the Honor View 10 boasts of a protruding dual camera setup. it has a 20 MP primary lens accompanied by a 16 MP depth sensor. Seflie-addicts get a 13 MP front shooter. Other features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, and USB Type-C connectivity. It packs in a 3750 mAh battery with fast charging tech which promises to achieve 50% charge within 30 mins. The Honor View 10 runs on Android Oreo 8.0 out-of-the-box.
