HTC’s Android One Based U11 Life Will Take On The Mi A1

There have been a lot of speculation regarding a mid-range HTC U11 Life. Unlike the HTC U11 and HTC U11 Ultra, the Life variant is expected to cater to the mid-range segment. Now, thanks to @LlabTooFeR, who has a good record with leaks, has posted key specifications of the upcoming handset.

The phone will be based on the Android One program, which was recently revived by the Xiaomi Mi A1 and the Moto X4. The Android One programme assures regular updates from Google to these phones. Things get even better with the HTC U11 Life, as it is expected to hit the shelves with Android Oreo 8.0 on-board. Those fond of the Sense UI need not disappoint as the phone will come with a few of HTC’s software tweaks.

As per the leak, the HTC U11 Life will come with a 5.2-inch Full HD 1080p display. It will be powered by Snapdragon’s 630 SoC which hosts eight ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz. The phone will come in 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage configs. The front and rear cameras will comprise of 16 MP sensors. It will pack in a 2600 mAh battery under the hood and the phone will be sealed as per IP67 guidelines to resist dust and water. The phone may ship with USonic headphones.
