HTC Unveils U11 Life Under Google Android One Programme

Android One programme is back with another brand giving it a shot. The Taiwanese brand HTC is the latest company to join the Android One line-up. The HTC U11 Life runs stock Android 8.0 Oreo. However, in the US, the company will be shipping this devices with its Sense UI. The phone comes with IP67 certification, which means that it is water and dust resistance.

The HTC U11 Life borrows its design from the U11. It features a liquid surface finish. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 630 SoC (System on Chip). The device comes in 3 GB variant with 32 GB internal storage. The 4 GB RAM model offers 64 GB internal storage. The phone has a microSD card slot to further expand the storage.

The phone features a 5.2-inch Full HD screen. It is protected by Corning’s Gorilla Glass protection. For the camera buffs, you get 16 MP rear camera. it is capable of recording 4K videos. For selfies, there’s a 16 MP front-facing shooter. This one settles for Full HD video recording.

The phone comes with HTC USonic audio technology with Active Noise Cancellation. In terms of connectivity, you get 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS. It is quite low on battery, with only a 2600 mAh pack. It does, however, comes with QuickCharge 3.0.

The HTC U11 (3 GB) global variant with Android One model costs €345 (approx. Rs 26,000). The other variant with 4 GB RAM is priced at 295 euros (Rs 30,000).
