HP, a leading brand in personal computers, has launched a new product under its Chromebook series of laptops. The product is called the Chromebook 15. It comes with a set of interesting features. The newest laptop flaunts backlit IPS touchscreen display, full-screen keyboard accompanied with a number pad and Chrome OS.

HP Chromebook 15 Variants and Price

The HP Chromebook 15 comes in two storage variants. They are the 64GB and 128GB variant. The base variant comes powered with an Intel Pentium Gold 4417U SoC processor. It retails for a price of $449 which roughly converts to Rs 31,300. The premium model of the Chromebook packs in an Intel Core i5 processor. The company has not yet revealed the price of this variant. The Chromebook 15 will be launched soon as per the official website of the brand. The availability or the price of the laptop in India has not been announced yet.

The HP Chromebook 15 sports a 15.6-inch IPS BrightView micro-edge WLED backlit touchscreen. The resolution of the screen is 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The full-sized backlit keyboard and number pad is mounted on a 1.8kg. The base variant of the Chromebook 15 is powered by the Intel Pentium Gold 4417U processor, paired with 4GB of DDR4 RAM. The high-end premium variant is equipped with Intel Core i5 chipset. Both the variants are equipped with Intel HD Graphics 610 for graphics requirements. As per the company, the Chromebook 15 can deliver up to 13 hours of backup on a single full charge.

The newest Chromebook from the company features a front-facing, wide-angle webcam with dual microphones. Its built-in speakers are by Bang & Olufsen. As for its connectivity, the Chrome OS-powered laptop features Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth 4.2 for connectivity.
