Huawei has finally put a price tag on its Honor 10 smartphone. The phone is going to cost Rs 29,999 in India and can be bought exclusively from Amazon India starting January 8. With such pricing, the Honor View 10 will compete with the OnePlus 5. Many will notice that the Honor View 10 is a rebranded Honor V10, which was launched on November 28 in China.
The Honor View 10 sports a metal unibody design. It has a 6-inch (2160 x 1080 pixels) Full HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. There’s a home button below the screen, which houses a fingerprint sensor.
The Honor View 10 is powered by Huawei’s own Kirin 970 chip. 10 nm chipset. It comes with i7 co-processor, Mali-G72 MP12 GPU. There’s also a ‘Neural Processing Unit’, which powers the AI (Artificial intelligence) bit. The phone gets 6 GB RAM coupled with 128 GB internal storage. You can expand it further via a microSD card slot.
For the shutterbugs, the Honor View 10 offers a dual camera setup on the back. There is a 16-megapixel RGB sensor and a 20-megapixel monochrome with dual LED flash. The front camera module bears a 13-megapixel sensor with an f/2.0 aperture. Other features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4 GHz/ 5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 LE, GPS, and USB Type-C connectivity.
The Honor View 10 runs Android Oreo out of the box. The handset draws power from a 3750 mAh battery fast charging technology. Huawei claims the battery can be charged 50 percent within just 30 minutes.
