Huawei’s sub-brand Honor is all set to launch its Note 10 smartphone in China on July 31. The specifications of the yet-to-be launched phone have leaked online several times. One of the leaks suggested that the phone will come with an impressive battery and now the company has confirmed that it will be backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery. This is a considerable improvement as compared to its predecessor Note 8’s 4500mAh battery. The teaser was posted by Honor on its official Weibo (Chinese social networking site) account. The teaser also shows that the phone will come with a proprietary Cool technology, which helps to maintain the temperature of the device.

Honor Note 10 Battery Teased

There are no details revealed regarding the phone’s other specifications in the recent teaser. However, based on the leaks in the past (TENAA listing), the Honor Note 10 is expected to feature a huge 6.95-inch fullHD+ AMOLED display along with 1080×2220 pixel resolution and an 18.5:9 aspect ratio. It may be powered by 2.4GHz octa-core Kirin 970 SoC along with 6GB or 8GB of RAM. There could be three storage options available for the users- 64GB, 128GB and 512GB which can be expanded further via microSD card. In the camera department, you can expect a dual camera set up on the rear comprising of 16-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and 24-megapixel secondary sensor. The front may host a 16-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. It may run Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box with a touch of Honor’s own User Interface wrapped with EMUI 8.1 skin. Dimensions of the device could be 177 x 85 x 7.65 mm and weight could be 230 grams.

In terms of connectivity, the device may come with 4G with VoLTE support, Bluetooth 5.0, a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C, GPS with A-GPS, GLONASS, dual-SIM slots, NFC and Wi-Fi 802.11.

Overall, considering the massive battery and large storage, we expect the Honor 10 to come with fast performance. Interestingly, company is also expected to launch Honor Note 10 Rolls Royce Limited Edition, but it will most probably be limited to Chinese market.
